#TBT: ROCKIE REY "CHIEF ROCK"

This week's Throwback Thursday consists of one of our favorites from one of our favorites; one of Philadelphia's best kept secrets - as far as Philly artists are concerned - Rockie Reyes, with his 2010 mixtape, "Chief Rock". This project features multiple productions from Etunez, Brown Starr, J. Doe and Level 13; along with guest spots from frequent collaborators: Show Da Blaza ('Bonafide', 'Calling My Name'); Frank Mula ('I'm Gone'), Scholar (now known as Scholito) and his Ghost Writaz teammates - Nox and Myke Storm (known here as Yeah Stizzo).

From the GW Intro to 'Let The Credits Roll,' this mixtape is an easy listening classic with a lyrical sound reminiscent of a NAS project blended with the Badlands, North Philly feel that includes street classics, flashy songs, gritty freestyles and thought provoking tracks.
